Everyone was throwing money at digital and I wanted in. I learned the importance of “user experience” and how it should be at the heart of everything we do. I built billion-dollar eCommerce websites, launched mobile apps and affected the social conversation globally. I worked my way from Art Director to Creative Director.

Junior Art Director – Javelin Direct

My first agency experience. I worked on a couple of direct mail projects and then focused my efforts on digital. As an art director, I concepted, designed and built everything I worked on.

The owner, Fritz, smoked a corncob pipe — in the office. I owe a lot to this place. They allowed me to be creative and fail at the same time.

BFA in graphic design. We completed most of our projects without computers. I also worked on an ad campaign to sell Nutria Rat to the state.
